Police are investigating after a fire was reported in Glebe Road, New Norfolk last night.
About 6.15pm emergency services responded to reports of a structure fire at an old church that was used for storage.
Tasmania Fire Service extinguished the fire and determined the fire to have been deliberately lit.
A/Inspector Richard Penney from Bridgewater Police said thankfully there were no occupants in the building at the time of the fire.
