Tasmania Police is investigating a suspicious fire in Devonport in the early hours of Friday morning.
Tasmania Fire Service and police were called to a residence in Nicholls Street about 2.15am.
Emergency crews were assisted by nearby residents, and the fire was extinguished quickly.
Nobody was home at the time, or physically injured during the incident.
The fire has since been deemed suspicious.
