A 20-year-old man and a youth both from Queenstown have been charged with Criminal Code Assault following an isolated incident in Queenstown on early Monday morning.
A 36-year-old man also from Queenstown is currently in hospital in a stable condition, being treated for serious head injuries. Police will allege a baseball bat was used to assault the man.
Senior Constable Stephen Barrow from Queenstown Uniform said “this is an isolated incident and the people were known to each other. Two people have been charged and will appear in the Queenstown Magistrates Court and Youth Justice Division at a later date.”
