Police lay charges after sexually touching in north west Sydney

A man has been charged after an alleged sexual touching incident at a train station in Sydney’s north west yesterday.

About 3pm (Monday 25 November 2019), a 20-year-old woman was walking towards Blacktown railway station when an unknown man approached her. He has engaged in conversation with the woman, who continued to walk towards the railway station.

Upon entering the train at Blacktown, the man continued to speak to the woman.

The woman exited the train at Mt Druitt railway station and entered an elevator. The man allegedly followed her into the elevator and sexually touched her before she pushed him away.

The man left the scene and the woman alerted nearby officers from the Police Transport Command.

A short time later, a 27-year-old man was arrested and taken to Mt Druitt Police Station.

He was charged with sexually touch another person without consent-and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (personal).

He was granted conditional bail to appear in Mt Druitt Local Court on Wednesday 18 December 2019.
