A man has been charged after six people were injured in a two-car crash in Sydney’s south-west last month.
Shortly before 6pm on Saturday 13 June 2020, a Subaru Impreza and a Toyota Corolla collided at traffic lights on Moorebank Avenue, Moorebank.
A 41-year-old woman and 11-year-old girl, passengers in the Corolla, were seriously injured, while the 47-year-old man driving suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the Subaru, a 27-year-old man, suffered serious internal injuries while his passengers, a seven-year-old girl and a four-year-old boy, suffered minor injuries.
All six were taken to Liverpool Hospital, where the woman remains following surgery.
Officers attached to Liverpool Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene, which was examined with assistance from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit.
Following inquiries, a 27-year-old man was arrested at Campbelltown Police Station and has now been charged with two counts of dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, and cause bodily harm by misconduct.
He was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Liverpool Local Court on Wednesday 19 August 2020.
