A boy reported missing from Burwood has been located safe and well.
A 14-year-old boy was reported missing after he last seen in Burwood, about 11am today (Saturday 16 September 2023).
When he could not be contacted or located, officers from Burwood Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Following extensive inquiries, including a public appeal and geo targeted text message, the boy was located safe and well in Croydon today.
Police wish to thank the public and the media for their assistance.
