Police make arrest after dangerous driving in Essendon

Detectives from the Mooney Valley Criminal Investigation Unit have charged a man after he was allegedly busted driving at dangerous speeds before continuing to try and avoid apprehension despite having three tyres deflated.

Officers witnessed a red Mazda travelling at excessive speeds on Bulla Road, Essendon about 9.30pm last night.

Attempts were made to intercept the vehicle but the driver failed to stop.

Police successfully deployed tyre deflation options on Buckley Street, Avondale Heights.
