Albany Detectives have charged a man as a result of their investigation into an incident at a football match in Katanning on Sunday, 30 May 2021.
It will be alleged around 1pm, the man approached another man who was a player from the opposition side and struck him in the face. The victim sustained a broken jaw, which later required surgery.
The 25-year-old man from Hilbert has been charged with:-
• Grievous Bodily Harm
He is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on 3 September 2021.
