Armadale Police have charged a man as a result of their investigation into a road rage incident that occurred about 2.50pm on Monday, 28 October 2019.
It is alleged an incident commenced between the man who was driving a Ford Territory and the driver of a Suzuki Swift whilst at the intersection of Tonkin Highway and Hale Road Forrestfield and continued on until both parties stopped their vehicles on Denny Avenue in Kelmscott.
It is further alleged the man assaulted the 55-year-old female driver of the Suzuki before driving away.
The woman was assisted by members of the public until police arrived.
The 22-year-old man from Maylands has been charged with:-
• Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm;
• No Authority to Drive; and
• Stealing.
He is due to appear before the Armadale Magistrates Court on 22 November 2019.
