Two men will appear before the Alice Springs Local Court charged with the attempted murder of a man in Alice Springs earlier this month.
On Friday 4 September the men, aged 29 and 34 are alleged to have detained a 43-year-old man before severly assaulting him.
The man was found in the driveway of an East Side home by two members of the public, who alerted police and emergency services.
He was transported to the Alice Springs Hospital where he received treatment for life threatening injuries.
Detectives from the Southern Region Investigation Division arrested and charged the two men with Attempted Murder, Deprivation of Liberty and Intentionally cause serious harm.
The pair are scheduled to appear before the Alice Springs Local Court today.
