Northern Territory Police have arrested a 35-year-old man in relation to his involvement in a violent incident in Palmerston late last month.
Yesterday, Batchelor members were conducting an RBT operation in Berry Springs, when they identified the man as a passenger in the vehicle. When questioned by police, he provided a false name and made attempts to hide his face.
He was arrested at the scene and taken to Palmerston Watch House. He has since been charged with:
- Unlawfully entering a dwelling and causing serious damage
- Damage to property x 3
- Possess traffickable quantity of schedule 2 dangerous drug
- Drive disqualified
- Furnish false name
- Breach of bail
He was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
