Police make arrests after school break-in, South Australia

Two teenagers were arrested after allegedly breaking into a high school at Mitchell Park overnight.

Police were called to Hamilton Secondary College, Marion Road, Mitchell Park about 3.45am on Saturday 16 October after an alarm activation.

They found two buildings at the school had been broken into.

Two suspects wearing balaclavas were seen running from the school. They were located at a nearby address and arrested.

A 15-year-old Plympton Park boy and a 14-year-old Renown Park boy were both charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, theft and going equipped to commit offence. They were bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Youth Court on 18 November.

Investigations are continuing to identify and locate the outstanding suspect, also believed to be a teenage boy.
