Police are investigating the sudden death of a woman at Tugun in the early hours of this morning.
Around 1.40am police were called to a Partridge Place duplex after reports of an unknown woman entering the premises.
Early investigations indicate an altercation occurred and the woman was restrained by the occupants. On police arrival the woman was discovered unresponsive.
Emergency services attended and were unable to revive her. She was declared deceased at the scene.
Police investigations are ongoing.
