On Tuesday afternoon about 4.25pm Police and Emergency Services personnel attended the scene of a fatal motor vehicle crash at Don.
The crash involved two vehicles colliding head on near the intersection of Cutts Road on Forth Road. A 62 year old female passenger of a Mazda 2 hatch died at the scene. The driver of a Ford Ranger involved and the driver of the Mazda 2 were taken to North West Regional Hospital for assessment and treatment. Both drivers have non life threatening injuries.
Forth Road was closed for several hours while Crash Investigation Services attended the scene. Investigations are continuing to establish the cause of the crash.
