Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Garbutt 15 April

A man has died following a single vehicle traffic crash in Garbutt this morning, Saturday April 15.

Preliminary information indicates an open back pantech truck carrying equipment was being driven eastbound along Woolcock Street nearby Duckworth Street, when the vehicle has left the road and rolled.

The driver and sole occupant , a 45-year-old Deeragun man sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
