Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating after a man died in a traffic crash at MacGregor tonight .
Preliminary investigations indicate just before 7pm a Holden Commodore was travelling outbound on Mains Road when the vehicle has hit the rear of a Mercedes sedan which was stopped in a line of traffic at the lights with Leadenhall Street.
The Mercedes has been pushed forward causing a series of nose to tail crashes in the stopped traffic, damaging three other cars.
The driver of the Commodore, a Brisbane man in his fifties, died at the scene.
Investigations are continuing.
