A man has died in a traffic crash at Townsville this afternoon.
Initial investigations indicate a pushbike and truck collided at the corner of Woolcock and Duckworth streets around 1.20pm.
The cyclist, a 45-year-old Mount Louisa man was pronounced deceased at the scene and the 36-year-old truck driver was uninjured.
The road had to be closed for three hours while investigations were carried out.
Forensic Crash Unit inquiries are continuing.
