A man has died after a single vehicle crash in the states south overnight.
About 12.30am (Thursday 11 June 2026), emergency services were called to southbound lanes of the Hume Highway, one kilometre south of Cooininee Road, Coolac, after reports of a single truck crash.
Officers attached to Riverina Police District responded and located a prime mover which had left the roadway and crashed in nearby bushland.
The driver, a man believed to be in his 60s, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, however, he died at the scene.
A crime scene was established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash has commenced.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
