Two people have sustained critical injuries following a single vehicle traffic crash in Ebbw Vale last night, Friday April 7.
Initial information indicates around 6.15pm a bronze ford falcon sedan was being driven east along Brisbane Road near Noel Street when it left the road and struck at tree.
A passing motorist raised the alarm and provided first aid ahead of the emergency response.
The driver, a 21-year-old Boronia Heights man and his passenger, a 19-year-old Leichhardt woman sustained critical injuries and were transported to hospital.
The Forensic Crash Unit urge anyone who witnessed the crash, or has relevant dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
