The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a crash involving a pedestrian in Maryborough last night.
Initial inquiries indicate just after 10pm a 69-year-old woman was crossing the road at the intersection of Alice and Rocky streets when she was struck by a black SUV.
The 56-year-old female driver immediately stopped to render assistance.
The woman has been taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital where she is in a stable but critical condition.
Forensic Crash Unit inquiries remain underway.
