Police responding to serious traffic crash at Mount Gravatt East

Police are investigating a serious traffic crash that occurred at Mount Gravatt East yesterday morning.

At 9.50am, a car struck a woman in her 80s in the carpark of a shopping centre on Creek Road.

She was taken to hospital for treatment and remains in a critical condition at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

The Forensic Crash Unit have commended an investigation and are appealing to anyone that may have been in the area at the time, has dash cam or witnessed the event to contact police.
