Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are making an appeal for information following the theft in Brighton East.
A silver 1981 Ford Fairmont, in immaculate condition, with a red stripe along its sides was taken from a driveway on Montgomery Street between 2 December and 3 December.
Investigators have been told an unknown man and woman stole the car from a shopping centre carpark on Olsen Street between 3pm and 4pm on 14 November.
The Ford Fairmont sedan registered BBV303 remains outstanding
Police have released images of the vehicle in the hope that someone may have seen it or be aware of its current whereabouts.
