Police seek information: Armed robbery at Maroochydore

Detectives from Maroochydore are seeking public assistance following the armed robbery of a Maroochydore business on Australia Day (January 26).

Initial investigations indicate around 8.40pm, a man entered a Maroochydore Convenience store on Aerodrome Road armed with a large kitchen knife.

He demanded money from staff and fled on foot toward Parker Street with a quantity of money.

The man is described as in his 20’s, proportionate build, wearing a long-sleeved fishing shirt, dark coloured shorts, a black shirt over his head and no shoes.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have seen the man in that area on Australia Day, or who may have relevant CCTV footage or dashcam to contact police.
