Police seek information on Alice Springs 18 May

Northern Territory Police are calling for information from the public after a safe was stolen from a business in Alice Springs.

Sometime between 4:30pm on Friday 13 May and 730am on Monday 16 May, unknown offenders forced entry into a business on the Santa Teresa Road, and once inside have stolen a grey cash safe.

Officers from Strike Force Viper have carriage of the investigation and are calling for anyone who may have information in relation to the theft, to report it to police.

Constable Jason Wilson of Strike Force Viper said they were calling for any motorists with dash-cam footage from the area of Santa Teresa Road from Friday afternoon to Monday morning, to contact police.

“The business is located in the rural area, which limits the information available. However we are positive there would be a motorist who would have inadvertently captured something on their dashcam which would assist us with our investigations into this incident.”

Anyone with information which would assist with investigations is urged to contact police on 131 44 or report it anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 and reference PROMIS number 10008898.
