Police seek information on Assault – Malak 2 October

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after an assault at a service station in Malak overnight.

Around 7:30pm, police received reports that up to 3 youth entered the service station on Holzerland Street, Malak. One of the group was allegedly armed with a stick, which was thrown at a passer-by outside of the service station before the group fled the scene.

The 48-year-old victim was struck in the eye by the stick and suffered serious injuries. The victim was conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital for treatment.

Detectives from Serious Crime are investigating the incident and are urging anyone with information, particularly if you have dash-cam, to make contact on 131 444. Please quote reference 10473140.
