Police Seek Information On Hit And Run At Tennant Creek

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after a hit and run in Tennant Creek overnight.

Around 10:30pm, police received a report that a 45-year-old woman had been struck by a vehicle on the Kargaru Camp Access Road, Tennant Creek.

The driver of the vehicle allegedly did not remain at the scene after the incident and did not inform emergency services .

The woman suffered serious injuries to her legs and pelvis and was conveyed to Tennant Creek Hospital for treatment.

The Tennant Creek Criminal Investigation Branch and the Major Crash Investigation Unit are investigating the crash and are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, particularly if you have dash-cam footage, to make contact on 131 444. Please quote reference 24063576.
