Police seek information on Robbery – Malak and Karama

Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to two alleged incidents of robbery that occurred overnight, Wednesday 1 July 2020.

About 8:00pm, six male youths entered a retail premises in Malak. The group were allegedly armed and threatened staff before stealing several bottles of spirits and fleeing the location.

About 9:00pm, the group attended a retail premises in Karama and again allegedly stole several bottles of spirits. An employee was assaulted while attempting to stop the youths.

Detectives from the Serious Crime Squad are investigating both incidents and are calling for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward.

The six youths are described as being of Aboriginal appearance in their mid to late teens. Five of the youths have dark complexions and one has a lighter complexion. All have short dark hair and had clothing covering their faces at the time of the alleged incidents, disguising their appearances.
