Police seek information on Shooting at Warwick

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate 26-year-old Jackson Watson who they believe can assist with the investigation into a shooting in Warwick last week.

The incident is alleged to have occurred on Wallace Street on Tuesday February 15, at around 9.20am.

The 37-year-old man who was injured in the incident was driven to hospital by family, where he required treatment for an abdominal wound.

Jackson is known to frequent, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Toowoomba, Warwick, and Texas and may be armed. Police consider him to be dangerous and the public should not approach him if sighted but contact Triple Zero (000) immediately.

Police would particularly like to appeal to any associates of Jackson or anyone who may know his whereabouts to make immediate contact. Alternatively, reports can be made fully anonymously via Crime Stoppers

Jackson is described as Caucasian, approximately 170cm tall with a proportionate build, brown hair and brown eyes.

Investigations are ongoing.
