Police seek witnesses – Indecent assault in Alice Springs 5 April

Northern Territory Police are calling for public assistance to help identify a man who is alleged to have indecently assaulted a woman in Alice Springs at the weekend.

On Saturday 2 April around 7pm, a woman was walking along Barrett Drive when it is alleged she was approached with a man who exposed himself to the woman before indecently assaulting her.

The woman yelled at the man twice, before leaving the area and seeking safety at the southern end of Barrett Drive.

Police are seeking public assistance to identify the man, who is described as being of Indigenous in appearance, about 180cms tall, aged between his late teens to early 30s and has a slender build and short hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing a dark coloured top with black shorts.

Police are calling for anyone who may have information which may assist with investigations to identify the man, to contact them on 131 444 or report it anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via email on crimestoppersnt.com.au
