Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Fawkner this afternoon.
Three vehicles – a semi-trailer, white 4WD and small red car – collided at the intersection of Western Ring and Sydney roads about 5pm.
The drivers of the semi-trailer and 4WD have become involved in a verbal argument and the 4WD has driven off.
Police have arrested a 52-year-old man nearby who is currently in custody, assisting police with their enquiries.
There were no injuries reported.
