Police are appealing for public assistance following the theft of a pair of Airpods on a Geelong train in August.
Investigators have been told the 14-year-old victim had his Airpods stolen while travelling on a Melbourne bound train that left South Geelong about 2.45pm on Sunday 25 August.
Geelong Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a 15-year-old boy with theft and he has been bailed to court at a later date.
Detectives believe a witness filmed the incident and appeal for him to come forward.
