As part of the ongoing investigation into a fatal crash at Taranna yesterday, police are asking witnesses to come forward.
The crash between a red Mitsubishi ASX and a black Victory Kingpin motorcycle occurred on the Tasman Highway around 8.30am.
Anyone who has saw the vehicle or motorcycle in the area prior to the crash is asked to provide information to Crash Investigation Services on 131 444 or upload dashcam footage to investigators at https://taspol.au.evidence.com/axon/community-request/public/police-seek-witnesses-of-car-and-motorcycle-in-taranna-crash
As a result of the crash, sadly the man riding the motorcycle died at the scene. The woman pillion passenger remains in the Royal Hobart Hospital in a critical condition.
The woman driver of the vehicle was transported to the Royal Hobart Hospital and has since been released.
