The boat belonging to the fisherman missing in Cleveland Bay since April 30 has been located near Arlington Reef, northeast of Cairns.
A passing vessel spotted the upturned boat and notified authorities. A helicopter was sent to investigate and confirmed it was the boat belonging to the missing fisherman.
The boat is being recovered and taken to Cairns.
The family has been advised.
