Police update: Break and enters at Gold Coast

Police have arrested two boys aged 16 and 17 and an 18-year-old man in relation to a series of break and enters using a vehicle across the Gold Coast over March 25 and March 26, 2020.

As part of investigations detectives executed search warrants at addresses at Burleigh Heads and Mermaid Beach taking the trio into custody.

Detectives have been investigating break and enters at a bottle shop at Currumbin Waters on March 25 as well as a bottle shop at Worongary and a chemist at Arundel which all occurred in the early hours of March 26.

Police are investigating whether the group might also be involved in further break and enters overnight at Miami where a car was stolen and further attempted break and enters in Surfers Paradise.

Investigations are ongoing and charges are expected.
