Police update: Fatal crash at Oakhurst, QLD

A 27-year-old woman has died following a two vehicle crash at Oakhurst on Thursday, November 24.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 3.25pm a two vehicle crash has occurred at the intersection of Mungar Road and Old Mill Road.

The driver of a Toyota Corolla, a 27-year-old Pimpama man, suffered critical injuries and died at the scene.

A 27-year-old Maryborough woman, a passenger in the vehicle, was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital in a critical condition, where she has since passed away as a result of her injuries.

The two occupants in the second vehicle, a Toyota Landcruiser, were transported to Hervey Bay Hospital in stable conditions.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
