Police are appealing for information after a post box was stolen in Oak Park last week.
It is understood a worker went to collect mail from the post box on Victoria Street, near the intersection of George Street about 11.45am on 28 April.
When the employee arrived, they noticed the post box had been was unrooted from the ground.
Officers were told the post box was there at 12pm on 27 April when the same driver attended.
The post box would be extremely heavy and difficult to remove so it’s likely a vehicle or power tools was involved in removing the post box.
Investigators are keen to speak with anyone who witnessed the theft or has CCTV/dashcam of vehicles in the area during that time.
