Northern Territory Police are calling for public assistance to locate 48-year-old Mr Dale Shannon.
Mr Shannon absconded from Barkly Work Camp in Tennant Creek at around 8:30pm last night. He is believed to be in the Tennant Creek or surrounding areas.
He is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, approximately 172cm tall, slim build and last seen wearing all green clothing.
Southern Watch Commander Tim Healey said “Tennant Creek Police are actively looking for Mr Shannon and he is urged to return himself into custody as soon as possible”.
