Property Council Future Leader Award to acknowledge outstanding industry leadership

Nominations are now open for the Tasmanian Future Leader of the Year Award Property.

The Award acknowledges and promotes the positive contribution made to the industry by emerging property professionals.

Property Council Tasmanian Executive Director, Rebecca Ellston said “It is important that we nurture and encourage the next generation of property leaders, who bring with them a great deal of passion for our industry which contributes so much to the Tasmanian economy and creates vibrant communities where people live, work and play.”

The Future Directions Program, supported by industry partner Hansen Yuncken, provides professional development and networking opportunities for young leaders in property through a tailored events and professional development program. The Program is supported and guided by a local Committee, comprised of Property Council members who represent various job roles and sectors across the breath of the property industry, from architecture to leasing.

“The Property Council has a longstanding commitment to attracting and promoting talent within our industry through several programs and initiatives, including the Future Directions Program, the 500 Women in Property Program and National Mentoring Program.

“The Future Leader Award is another way we can shine the spotlight on the outstanding commitment of our young leaders and encourage their unique views, voices and contribution to our great industry.”

We know that the best thinking, productivity and innovation happens when we have diverse perspectives represented around the table, and supporting our young talent is an important part of setting up our industry for future success and growth,” Ms Ellston said.

Nominations close Friday 5 November and can be submitted through the online portal here.
