Protective Security Officer suspended Operations Support Command

A 39-year-old male Protective Security Officer from the Operations Support Command has been suspended from the Queensland Police Service.

The officer is the subject of criminal allegations relating stealing as a servant, fraud, possession of a drug utensil and evade railway fare. He is set to appear before the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on 13 March 2019 and the Brisbane Central Magistrates Court on 14 March 2019.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct. This does not mean that the allegations against the officer have been substantiated.
