PSPA Emergency Declaration Declaration At Ipswich

Police have made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) due to a fire in Ipswich this morning, 1 August.

The declaration was made at 9.33am after emergency services were called a building fire on Brisbane Street.

The emergency declaration encompasses Brisbane Street, Waghorn Street, Limestone Street and Ellenborough Street.

Members of the public are advised to avoid the area and those within the exclusion zone are asked to remain indoors until further notice.
