Public appeal: Unlawful Use of Motor Vehicle, Logan District

Police have released footage of two men as part of the investigation into the unlawful use of four vehicles in the Logan District this week.

Around 6:00am on March 5, a grey 2021 Ford Mustang coupe was stolen from an address at Brookhaven Boulevard, Bahrs Scrub.

Around 6:00am on March 6, the stolen mustang was sighted at an address on Lowthers Street, Yarrabilba, where a white 2015 Nissan Navara utility and a brown 2014 Kia Sportage station wagon were stolen.

Around 3.40pm, the stolen Mustang was used to steal approximately $60 worth of unleaded fuel from a service station at Anzac Avenue, Hillcrest.

The Mustang was then sighted at the drive-through of a Jimboomba fast food restaurant around 5.40pm.

Around 6:00am on March 8, the stolen Navara was sighted at an address on Jonquil Street, Ormeau, where a white 2017 Ford Mustang was stolen.

Both the Navara and Sportage have subsequently been located but both Mustangs are still outstanding.

Investigations continue.
