Public Notice: Night time deliveries to transport Snowy 2.0 TBM cargo rolling again

Future Generation would like to remind motorists about large loads for Snowy 2.0 that are rolling again with overnight deliveries under police and pilot escorts along the Snowy Mountains Highway.

Below is the latest schedule for this week – weather permitting:

Tuesday 12 July / Wednesday 13 July (from 9pm to 5am)2 wide loadsPolice and pilot escort from Four Mile on Snowy Mtns HwyStaged closures between Four Mile and Lobs Hole:

  • from 9pm to 1am – rolling road closure between Four Mile and Rock Forest, via Adaminaby;
  • from 1am to 5am – full road closure for 1 load travelling between Rock Forest and Link Road. Motorists should allow extra travel time in both directions through this section of Kosciuszko National Park
Tuesday 16 July / Wednesday 20 July (from 11pm to 5am)3 wide loadsPolice and pilot escort to Cooma and on Snowy Mtns HwyStaged closures between Cooma and Lobs Hole:

  • from 11pm to 2am – rolling road closure between Cooma and Rock Forest, via Adaminaby;
  • from 2am to 5am – full road closure for 2 loads travelling between Rock Forest and Link Road. Motorists should allow extra travel time in both directions through this section of Kosciuszko National Park

The delivery schedule is being regularly updated on the project website and is subject to further change at short notice due to weather and availability of resources to escort the loads.
