Funerals from tomorrow may be attended by up to 100 people, as Queensland records another day of no new cases.
There are five active cases, 1051 recovered and a total of 1065.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said many people had been raising the issue of funeral attendance numbers.
“From tomorrow, 100 people will be allowed to attend a loved one’s funeral, with a list of the names that attend,” Ms Palaszczuk said.
“I really want to thank the community for raising this issue. I know it’s been very, very tough over the past few months.
