Important social and economic initiatives are continuing during COVID-19, on another day of no new cases, five more recoveries and tests climbing above 120,000.
There are now 52 active cases, 985 recovered and six deaths for a total of 1043.
Welcoming the figures, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk also gave keynote addresses at two on-line summits – one dealing with domestic and family violence, the other on renewable energy.
“Support services have been inundated during the pandemic and we know that sometimes being in confined places for long periods of time leads to distress,” Ms Palaszczuk said.
“We previously announced an extra $5.5 million for services, and today an extra $2 million.”
On renewables, the Premier said economic emergence from COVID-19 would be helped by new projects, including Australia’s largest solar farm, and panels on shopping centre roofs.
“The best thing to support Queensland jobs is to support investment in our state,” she said.
“And tomorrow we’re meeting with representatives of cafes, restaurants and tourism. We’re working on the roadmap to recovery, then I’ll release that and everyone will have the detail.”

- The Chief Health Officer said people should consider still working from home, if it suited.
“If it’s not working for you or your employer then it’s time to think about going back to work but maintaining social distancing, and think about staggered starts and finishes,” she said.
