Raptor Squad charge three senior Lone Wolf OMCG members; one over Connells Point shooting – Strike Force Searle

Three senior members of the Lone Wolf Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG) have been charged by Raptor Squad detectives under Strike Force Searle.

State Crime Command’s Raptor Squad established Strike Force Searle in October 2022 to investigate the supply and manufacture of methylamphetamine by members and associates of the Lone Wolf OMCG.

A number of people have already been charged under Strike Force Searle and remain before the courts.

Following ongoing inquiries, about 6.30am on Tuesday 12 September 2023, strike force detectives executed a search warrant in Hebersham, where they arrested a 41-year-old man.

The man was taken to St Marys Police Station, where was charged with manufacture prohibited drug >= large commercial quantity, supply prohibited drug >= large commercial quantity, participate criminal group contribute criminal activity and three counts of possess prohibited drug.

He was refused bail and appeared before Penrith Local Court on Wednesday 13 September 2023, where he was formally refused bail to reappear at the same court on Friday 11 November 2023.

About 7.10am the same day, police attended a second address in Hebersham, where they arrested a 41-year-old man.

He was taken to Mount Druitt Police Station, where he was charged with participate in criminal group, goods suspected stolen in/on premises motor vehicle, and dispose motor vehicle part theft serious indictable offence.

He was refused bail and appeared before Mount Druitt Local Court on Tuesday 12 September 2023, where he was granted conditional bail to appear before Windsor Local Court on Thursday 26 October 2023.

Police will allege in court the man was involved in disposing of the vehicle used in a shooting at Connells Point in July last year, during which a 9-year-old girl was seriously injured – a separate Raptor Squad investigation under Strike Force Camiri.

About 6.20am yesterday (Friday 15 September 2023), strike force detectives executed a search warrant at an address in St Clair where they arrested a 41-year-old man.

The man was taken to Penrith Police Station, where he was charged with knowingly direct activities of criminal group, manufacture prohibited drug >= large commercial quantity, supply prohibited drug >= large commercial quantity, fail to comply digital evidence access order direction and possess prohibited drug.

He was refused bail and appeared in Penrith Local Court the same day.

Police will allege the man was one of four national presidents of the Lone Wolf OMCG.

Inquiries under Strike Force Searle continue.
