Call for Applications

What is the Academy?

The Academy aims to build capacities and facilitate experience-sharing among key stakeholders from SEA in support of a clean and inclusive energy transition. A coaching mechanism will provide attendees with an opportunity to put into practice the knowledge and skills that they acquire during the Academy, with the training focusing on four countries (Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines) that represent around 80% of the region’s total energy share and population.

The Academy will be conducted virtually (with some face-to-face elements) with a total of 25 learning hours being delivered over two months from September to October 2022 (the exact dates are to be communicated in due course). Additional information on the Academy is provided in the attached one-pager.

The Academy is jointly organized by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR as implementing partner), the Clean, Affordable and Secure Energy for Southeast Asia (CASE), and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV).

Who can attend?
