Mayor Libro Mustica said the Achievement Awards recognise businesses that have developed innovative ways to continue to retain and attract customers, shown leadership, and provided goods and services to our community.
“It is important to recognise those businesses in our region who have gone above and beyond to make a difference to their customers, their staff and the communities as a whole,” Cr Mustica said.
“There are three finalists in each of the eight categories – Retail; Tourism; Agriculture; Horticulture; Professional Services; Manufacturing; Best New Business; and Best Regional Business, from the Memorandum of Understanding group of councils (Berrigan, Federation, and Indigo).
“These finalists were chosen from the more than 800 nominations received by the community during the Nomination Period.
“The winners will be announced at a ceremony to be held on Thursday 28 July at the Sebel, Yarrawonga.
