Repairs are scheduled for the sealed sections of Springfield Road between Nimmitabel and Maffra, with work scheduled to begin on Friday 2 June 2023.
This work is part of Council’s 2022/23 Heavy Patch Program, funded under the NSW Government’s Regional and Local Road Repair Program.
Work will commence following the completion of heavy patching work on Delegate Road – weather depending.
Council will be placing traffic signage including temporary speed restrictions by Friday 5 May 2023, identifying areas where hazards are present to ensure the safety of road users.
As a reminder to all motorists, please drive to the conditions – especially on damaged roads and during roadworks – Council will continue to share updates on our ongoing work to repair and upgrade roads across the region.
