Revocation of stand down of police officerin Brisbane Region

A male senior constable from Brisbane Region who was stood down from official duty with the Queensland Police Service in 2018, will now return to operational duties.

The officer was stood down on December 3, 2018 in relation to matters involving inappropriate access to confidential QPS information. These matters have now been finalised with the officer receiving a disciplinary sanction.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct.
