Revocation of stand down, Operations Support Command

A male senior sergeant from Operations Support Command, who was previously stood down from the Queensland Police Service, has been returned to duty.

Investigations into allegations of domestic violence have been completed and it was determined there was insufficient evidence to take criminal or disciplinary action against the officer.

Accordingly, the stand down of the officer has been revoked and he has been returned to duty.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct. This does not mean that the allegations against the officer have been substantiated.
